CBS TELEVISION STUDIOS APPOINTS TWO DRAMA DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVES
Meghan Lyvers Named Senior Vice President, Drama Development
Brianna Bennett Named Vice President, Drama Development
Meghan Lyvers has been named Senior Vice President, Drama Development, CBS Television Studios and Brianna Bennett has been named Vice President, Drama Development, CBS Television Studios it was announced by Julie McNamara, Executive Vice President, Drama Development, Broadcast and Cable, CBS Television Studios.
"We are thrilled to have Meghan and Brianna as new additions to our drama team," said McNamara. "They are both passionate, talented executives who bring unique perspectives to the table; Meghan having produced film and television in addition to working in talent management, and Brianna having spent most of her career on the network side. We have had an outpouring of congratulations on these 'great hires' from the creative community which speaks to the positive relationships they have established. We look forward to their contributions as we continue to grow our slate of dramas in broadcast."
Lyvers joins CBS from Television 360, a division of Management 360 where she oversaw the department's development and production slate including "Avenues of Spies," "Heartland Trucking" and "The Terror," among others. She also developed with many 360 clients including Michael Chiklis, Christina Applegate, Brad Garrett, Taye Diggs, Marc Forster, Jaume Collet-Serra, Max Winkler, John Burnham Schwartz and Andrea Berloff.
Previously, Lyvers served as Vice President, Development & Production at Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal's Tribeca Productions where for more than 10 years she oversaw the feature film and television slate including "About a Boy," "Analyze That," "Meet the Fockers," "The Good Shepherd," "Little Fockers," "Being Flynn" and "NYC-22."
Lyvers was involved in the creation of the Tribeca Film Festival and Tribeca Film Institute with De Niro and Rosenthal following 9/11 and remains actively involved in both organizations. She attended New York University.
Bennett joins CBS from FOX where she was Director, Drama Development, working on "Sleepy Hollow," "The Following," "Gang Related," Almost Human" and the upcoming "Red Band Society," "Empire" and "Backstrom."
She began her development career as an assistant in comedy development at CBS Television Studios before joining the CW as a drama development coordinator. Prior to that, Bennett worked at BWCS/ICM Partners in the television lit department. Bennett attended Ohio University.
