“The Talk’s” Annual Daytime Emmy “After-Party” Will Include Appearances by Several of the Night’s Biggest Winners  

Los Angeles, Calif. – CBS’s Daytime Emmy Award-nominated  talk show THE TALK will salute “The 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards” with a special show dedicated to daytime television’s biggest night, Monday, June 17, 2013 (2:00 PM, ET/1:00 PM, PT), on the CBS Television Network.  Hosts of THE TALK will be joined live in-studio by some of the night’s biggest winners for a post-Emmy celebration. This year marks the second time THE TALK has paid tribute to Daytime Emmy winners from across the daypart by inviting them to appear live on the show the following day. Guest names to be announced following the Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday, June 16.

Also on Monday, THE TALK will welcome the cast of “Hot in Cleveland,” with appearances from stars Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves.

Recently, CBS led the 2013 Daytime Emmy Award nominations with 51 nods. CBS Daytime’s entire entertainment lineup was honored, with THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL both receiving nominations for Outstanding Drama Series.  THE TALK was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show, Entertainment; THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET’S MAKE A DEAL were both nominated for Outstanding Game Show; and LET’S MAKE A DEAL host Wayne Brady was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host.
