ALLISON IS CONVINCED THAT A WITNESS HAS GIVEN A BOGUS DESCRIPTION OF THE MAN WHO KILLED HER FIANCE AND IS DETERMINED TO TRACK DOWN THE REAL KILLER.
“Night of the Wolf” #003– Not convinced that all her dreams mean something,
Allison ignores a dream about a wolf and blames it on the “Little Red Riding” book she
read to her daughters. Later, however, she finds a connection in her seemingly trivial
dream when she overhears a witness incorrectly describe a killer to a sketch artist on,
MEDIUM, Monday, January 24, 2005 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on NBC. Artie
Mandelberg directed the episode written by Rene Echevarria.
After proving her abilities, Devalos calls Allison in to look over some cold cases in
hopes that she may get a vision that will help solve them. While looking over the cases
Allison listens in as a sketch artist asks a witness to describe the man that just shot her
fiancé. Allison is shocked when her vision of the murder shows a much different
attacker. Allison tricks the sketch artist to draw the real killer and, with Devalos,
approaches the witness with the real drawing.
Meanwhile, Allison and Joe are surprised to learn that Bridgette has no friends at
school. Feeling responsible for this, they try to set up a play date for their lonely
daughter, only to learn no one wants to play with her. To their delight, Bridgette does
make a friend. Unfortunately, the friend is a dead little boy. While Joe deals with the
fact that his daughter is playing with ghosts, Allison helps the little boy cross over and
put his spirit at ease. Allison also ends up helping the witness, when the woman agrees
to sign a statement that points the real killer; an under cover detective named Wolfe.
