Executive Vice President/Head of Production, Paramount Television Studios & CBS Studios

Liz Miller is the EVP, Head of Production at Paramount Television Studios & CBS Studios.

Part of the Paramount family for over 30 years, Miller rejoined Paramount Television Studios from Netflix in 2019 as SVP Production. In 2022 Miller’s role was expanded to give her oversight of all PTVS Production, and in 2023 she also added oversight of CBS Studios Production, making her EVP and head of production for both studios. In this current position Miller and her team are responsible for overseeing both the production and post production process, establishing and curating relations with producers, productions and production companies, reviewing budgets, and supporting/suggesting best production practices.  She works closely with the Creative, Casting, Finance, VFX and Post Production departments as well as other internal teams to ensure efficient delivery of the studios’ series from script to on-air. Some notable titles she has overseen include Tom Clancy’s Jack RyanReacher13 Reasons Why, The Haunting of Bly Manor, the Star Trek franchise, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies and the upcoming The Spiderwick Chronicles and Cross

While at Netflix, Miller served as Director of Production, working on such shows as Bridgerton, Jupiter’s LegacyNarcos and Outer Banks.

Prior to Netflix, she served as SVP of Television Production at CBS Studios, working on such hits as Star Trek: Discovery, The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Hawaii 5-0, Magnum PI, Bull, Madam Secretary and Blue Bloods. In her first stint at Paramount, Miller worked on Star Trek: EnterpriseStar Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as well as television classics Cheers and Frasier

Liz received a bachelor's degree in broadcast communications at the University of Hawaii.  She resides with her husband and two children in the Los Angeles area.
