MARK IMMELMAN

On-course reporter & Golf Analyst

Mark Immelman is an analyst and on-course reporter for CBS Sports coverage of the PGA TOUR, Masters and PGA Championship.

Immelman also serves as an analyst for CBS Sports HQ and CBS Sports’ First Cut Podcast, along with PGA TOUR LIVE. He hosts “On the Mark,” a popular PGA TOUR Podcast. Immelman has published two e-Books on golf instruction: “Scandalously Simple – The Easy Way to Accurate Golf Shots” and “Golf is a Game of Recovery.”

A well-renowned teacher, he has taught and/or consulted PGA TOUR and European Tour professionals and tournament winners throughout his career such as: Larry Mize, Loren Roberts, Trevor Immelman, Scott Brown and Patton Kizzire. Immelman has been recognized as one of Golf Magazine’s 2021-2022 “Teachers to Watch,” Golf Digest's “Top 20 Instructors Under 40”, Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in the State of Georgia” and Georgia Trend Magazine's “Top 40 Under 40 – Georgia’s Best and Brightest.”

Immelman served as Head Men’s Coach and Director of Golf at Columbus (Ga.) State University for 20 seasons (2001-2021). During his tenure, he was a two-time NCAA Division II Atlantic/Southeast Region Coach of the Year, Peachbelt Conference Coach of the Year, and the 2009 NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year.

After a successful amateur career in South Africa, Immelman was offered a golf scholarship to Columbus State. He enjoyed a successful collegiate career highlighted by being a four-time All-America selection, two-time Academic All-American, and member of two NCAA Division II National Championship teams.

Immelman currently resides in Columbus, Ga. with his wife, Tracy, and daughters, Isabel and Sophia.
