Doug Pederson joined CBS Sports in 2026 as a college football game analyst.

Pederson began his professional football career in the early 1990s as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Miami Dolphins in 1991 as a backup quarterback and special teams contributor. He later spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns.

Pederson began his NFL coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 as an offensive quality control coach. He was later named offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013 before returning to Philadelphia as head coach in 2016, leading the franchise to its first Super Bowl championship following the 2017 season.

Pederson attended Northeast Louisiana University (now the University of Louisiana-Monroe), where he played quarterback from 1987 to 1990 and served as team captain during his senior year.

He and his wife, Jeannie, have three kids: Drew, Josh and Joel.
