- Adam Breneman
Adam Breneman joined CBS Sports’ college football coverage as a game analyst in 2023.
A highly touted recruit coming out of high school as a tight end, Breneman played three seasons for the Penn State Nittany Lions where he was a Freshman All-American. Breneman later transferred to the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he led the nation in receptions by a tight end and was a John Mackey Award semi-finalist in each of his final two seasons of eligibility.
From 2020-2021, Breneman served as the tight ends coach at Arizona State, where he was the youngest position coach in major college football. He was also named to 247Sports’ 30 Under 30 list, recognizing the top young coaches and rising stars in football.
Prior to CBS, Breneman hosted a weekly Penn State Football show on Pennlive.com and currently hosts his podcast Next Up with Adam Breneman, where he interviews some of the biggest head coaches and players in college football.
A native of Harrisburg, Pa., Breneman is a graduate of Penn State University and University of Massachusetts and currently resides in New York City.
