Janelly Farías

Janelly Farías is an analyst for CBS Sports’ soccer coverage, including UEFA Women’s Champions League Today and CONCACAF men’s and women’s tournaments, following a distinguished playing career in Liga MX Femenil and internationally with the Mexico Women’s National Team.

Farías has represented the Mexico Women’s National Team at numerous levels, including at the 2006 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Championship. Farías played professionally for top clubs including Club América, Chivas, Pachuca, and FC Juárez. Her career also included stints with LA Galaxy OC, Apollon Ladies in Cyprus, and San Diego SeaLions.

Farías transitioned into broadcasting while still active as a player, serving as a studio analyst for Telemundo during the 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cups, earning an Emmy for her work, and later joining CBS Sports for coverage of the 2021 and 2025 Concacaf Nations League tournaments. She also participated in Exatlón Estados Unidos (season 1), a reality competition series where two teams of physically fit contestants compete against each other.
