CBS SPORTS SET FOR 68TH CONSECUTIVE MASTERS BROADCAST FROM AUGUSTA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB


Masters Live Complements Broadcast Coverage with More Than 100 Hours of Additional Live Streaming Video on CBS Sports Digital Platforms & Paramount+

CBS Sports Network’s Week-Long Coverage to Begin Monday, April 3 with Masters On the Range

CBS Sports is set to broadcast the Masters, the most renowned Tournament in golf, for the 68th consecutive year from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., April 6-9. The Masters is the longest-running sporting event broadcast on one network.

CBS Sports’ multi-platform coverage is highlighted by broadcast coverage on the CBS Television Network and streaming live on Paramount+, beginning with the third round on Saturday, April 8 (3:00-7:00 PM, ET) and final-round action on Sunday, April 9 (2:00-7:00 PM, ET). In addition, Masters Highlights air Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7 (11:35-11:50 PM, ET) on CBS and Paramount+.

Jim Nantz, in his 38th consecutive year covering the Masters, serves as host for the 36th time. 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman joins Nantz as the lead analyst at the Masters for the first time.

Nantz and Immelman are joined by CBS Sports’ golf team including analyst and hole announcer Ian Baker-Finch, on-course reporter Dottie Pepper, Frank Nobilo, Verne Lundquist, Andrew Catalon, and Amanda Renner, contributing with interviews.

CBS Sports' coverage of the Masters will be produced by Sellers Shy (lead producer) along with Jim Rikhoff, and directed by Steve Milton (lead director) along with Bob Matina. Andy Freedman and Chris Svendsen will serve as replay producers. Freedman will produce the Masters Highlights shows, and Cory Fishman will direct.

Masters Live Complements Broadcast Coverage with More Than 100 Hours of Additional Live Streaming Video on CBS Sports Digital Platforms & Paramount+

Masters Live, featuring full-day streaming coverage of the 2023 Masters Tournament will offer four channels of live action available on CBSSports.com, the CBS Sports app for mobile devices, and Paramount+. Masters Live will extend CBS Sports’ broadcast coverage throughout the week from Augusta National Golf Club, offering more than 100 additional hours of live video along with in-progress highlights. 

The 2023 Masters Live line-up of channels includes:

  • Featured Groups: Shane Bacon, Colt Knost and Billy Kratzert will lead Featured Groups morning coverage. In addition, Brian Crowell, Smylie Kaufman and Michael Breed will serve as announcers for the afternoon Featured Groups coverage.

  • Amen Corner: Grant Boone and Mark Immelman serve as announcers for live streaming coverage of the 11th, 12th and 13th holes.

  • Holes 15 & 16: Iona Stephen and Ned Michaels provide commentary and analysis for live streaming coverage on the 15th and 16th holes.

  • Masters On the Range – Masters On the Range, presented Monday through Sunday on Masters Live and CBS Sports Network, will feature interviews with players, analysis of those in the field and breakdowns from the Tournament Practice Area at Augusta National leading up to and throughout the 2023 Masters. Kelly Tilghman, Brian Crowell, Amanda Renner, Iona Stephen, Smylie Kaufman, Michael Breed and Billy Kratzert will provide commentary throughout the week.

In addition to live golf action, Masters Live will present video highlights and Augusta National aerials, as well as historical and Interview Room highlights. Masters Live will be available at CBSSports.com and on the CBS Sports app for mobile devices, as well as Paramount+.

CBS Sports HQ, the free 24/7 streaming sports news network, will feature live look-ins, updates and reports beginning Monday, April 3, with CBS Sports golf writer Kyle Porter. CBS SPORTS HQ SPOTLIGHT, the daily sports information show on CBS Sports Network, also will break down all the storylines and action throughout the week. Additionally, CBS Sports HQ and CBS Sports’ The First Cut podcast will provide recaps and extended coverage at the conclusion of each round. CBS Sports HQ is available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app for mobile and connected TV devices.

CBS Sports to Air Five Masters Specials, Including Trevor Immelman Hosting 13 Green Jackets: A Conversation with Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Scottie Scheffler

Leading into its live weekend coverage of the Masters, CBS Sports will broadcast five Masters specials – airing on the CBS Television Network and streaming live on Paramount+ – highlighting the memories and tradition at Augusta National Golf Club.

  • 2008 Masters champion and CBS Sports lead analyst Trevor Immelman will host 13 Green Jackets: A Conversation with Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Scottie Scheffler (Saturday, April 8, 2:00-3:00 PM, ET). In partnership with Rolex, the show will feature a roundtable discussion among the four Masters champions, collectively reflecting on some of their most memorable moments at Augusta National Golf Club, and what the Masters means to them and their career legacy.

  • WE NEED TO TALK will broadcast a special episode live from Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday, April 8 (12:30-1:30 PM, ET). We Need to Talk at the Masters presented by AT&T will feature Renner, Pepper and Tilghman, along with Katrina Adams. The show will include segments from Butler Cabin previewing Saturday’s third round, a recap of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur – including an interview with the champion, a feature on the Paine College (Augusta, Ga.) women’s golf team and the Lee Elder Scholarship founded by Augusta National, along with Renner playing a round of golf with new Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton.

  • Jim Nantz Remembers Augusta: The Masterful Tom Weiskopf (Sunday, April 9, 1:00-2:00 PM, ET) will include reflections from Nantz on the outstanding career and legacy of Tom Weiskopf. The special includes an interview with Weiskopf (done in 2020 prior to his passing in 2022) and focuses on his four runner-up finishes at the Masters, including most notably in 1975.

  • An Invitation to the Masters: Latin America Amateur Championship (Saturday, April 8, 1:30-2:00 PM, ET) will profile Mateo Fernandez de Oliveira (Argentina). The show will recount his victory in January at the Latin America Amateur Championship that earned him an invitation into the 2023 Masters, while also documenting his experience on-site at Augusta National during the week of the Masters.

  • An Invitation to the Masters: Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (Sunday, April 9, 12:30-1:00 PM, ET) will highlight Harrison Crowe (Australia). The special will reflect on how Crowe earned his Masters invitation by virtue of winning the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship last October, and additionally will follow his journey in Augusta during the 2023 Masters.

CBS Sports Network Week-Long Coverage

  • Masters On the Range: CBS Sports Network, along with Masters Live, will start off Masters week on Monday, April 3 with Masters On the Range, airing live each day and featuring interviews with players, analysis of the field and breakdowns from the Tournament Practice Area at Augusta National.

  • Re-Airs and Replays: Along with Masters On the Range, CBS Sports Network will air an encore of CBS Sports’ live third-round coverage of the 2023 Masters on Saturday night (8:00 PM, ET) and the final round on Sunday evening (8:00 PM, ET). The network also will re-air the 2023 final round on Monday, April 10 (6:30 PM, ET). Additionally, CBS Sports Network sets the stage for this year’s Tournament with a replay of the 2022 Masters final round on Wednesday, April 5 (6:30 PM, ET).
