Charles Davis Joins Deep NFL ON CBS Roster Teaming with Ian Eagle and Evan Washburn on the No. 2 NFL Team

Phil Simms and Nate Burleson Bolster Network’s Pregame Show for Fourth Year Together

 

Announcer Assignments for Weeks 1-2 Set

 

Leading the best and deepest lineup of NFL announcers in sports television in CBS Sports’ Super Bowl season, Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson will call CBS’ marquee game each week, as well as many of the best games of the 2020 NFL season including the AFC Playoffs, AFC Championship Game and culminating with Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Fla. on February 7, 2021.

 

CBS solidifies its first-rate lineup with the addition of Charles Davis on the No. 2 announce team to be paired with Ian Eagle and reporter Evan Washburn. In addition, CBS has created two new teams with Kevin Harlan working alongside Trent Green and reporter Melanie Collins, and Greg Gumbel pairing with Rich Gannon as the Network strengthens its deep NFL ON CBS broadcast team.

 

As THE NFL ON CBS heads into its 61st season broadcasting the NFL, the following are the Network’s NFL announcer pairings for the 2020 season (play-by-play/analyst//reporter):

In addition to Wolfson, Washburn and Collins, additional sideline reporters, including Amanda Balionis, Sherree Burruss, A.J. Ross and Michael Grady, will be used throughout the season.

 

THE NFL TODAY returns with host James Brown alongside Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, Phil Simms and Nate Burleson for its fourth season together. Gene Steratore again serves as NFL Rules Analyst and Jason La Canfora continues to serve as “NFL Insider.”

 

Jim Rikhoff is the lead game producer for THE NFL ON CBS, and Michael Arnold is the lead game director. Drew Kaliski is the producer for THE NFL TODAY, while Bob Matina directs.

Sean McManus is Chairman, CBS Sports, and serves as Executive Producer for THE NFL ON CBS. David Berson is President, CBS Sports. Harold Bryant is Executive Producer and Senior Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
