Andy Freedman joined CBS Sports in 1999 and currently serves as the lead director for the network's college football game coverage.

Freedman additionally serves as a director, producer, and replay producer for CBS Sports' golf coverage, as well as the replay producer for the network's main coverage of the Masters and a producer of CBS Sports' Masters highlights show. He also serves as a director on the network's coverage of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

He has worked in various roles on eight Super Bowls, including most recently as the director of the first-ever alternate telecast (Super Bowl LVIII on Nickelodeon) as well as 25 Masters Tournaments, 23 PGA Championships, and three U.S. Open Tennis Championships.

An eight-time Emmy Award winner, Freedman joined CBS Sports in production support while still a student and was promoted to Broadcast Associate in 2002, Associate Director in 2007, and Director in 2015. He has also served as an adjunct professor at UNC-Chapel Hill since 2016.

Born in Boston and raised in South Florida, Freedman graduated from the University of Florida in 2001. He lives in Durham, N.C., with his wife, Ashley; daughter, Logan; sons, Hunter and Grayson; and two black Labs, Lexi and Dylan.
