CBS SPORTS AND MISSOURI VALLEY CONFERENCE EXTEND PARTNERSHIP WITH MULTI-YEAR DEAL FOR MEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL

Missouri Valley Championship Game Remains on CBS and Paramount+

CBS Sports Network to Televise Package of Regular-Season Games and Arch Madness Semifinals Each Year

CBS Sports and the Missouri Valley Conference have reached a multi-year extension for men’s college basketball games to air across CBS and Paramount+ as well as CBS Sports Network. The deal, which runs through the 2026-27 season, is through a sublicence agreement with ESPN.

The Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Championship game will continue to be broadcast on CBS and streamed live on Paramount+. This upcoming year will be the 20th consecutive season CBS Sports has presented the Championship game.

CBS Sports Network will televise the Arch Madness semifinals – which it has aired for the past nine seasons – as well as a package of regular-season games each year.

“Since 2006, CBS Sports has been a great partner, and we are thrilled to continue our relationship, with CBS remaining as the television home for the championship game of Arch Madness,” said Jeff Jackson, Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner, who is in his fourth year.

CBS Sports will begin its 44th consecutive season presenting college basketball this fall with approximately 300 regular-season games across CBS and Paramount+, as well as CBS Sports Network, including 15 automatic bids to the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Tournaments. CBS Sports has been the broadcast home of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament since 1982, including a partnership with TNT Sports since 2012.

The Missouri Valley Conference – the nation’s second-oldest NCAA Division I conference – continues to be a leader in college athletics and is one of the nation’s most progressive conferences, celebrating its 118th season in 2024-25. The Valley brand remains very strong, both regionally and nationally, and the great athletic tradition of the Conference remains a compelling force in recruiting student-athletes and in marketing all the MVC programs. League members have worked together to focus on common goals and objectives, placing a high value on league harmony, while continuing to invest in athletic programs to compete at the highest level. League all-sport members include Belmont, Bradley, Drake, Evansville, Illinois Chicago (UIC), Illinois State, Indiana State, Missouri State, Murray State, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois and Valparaiso.
