“CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR” AND VEGAS, BABY! SUPERCROSS AND EPIC POKER HIGHLIGHT SHOWS FROM LAS VEGAS ON SUNDAY, FEB. 26

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR rides THE PATH TO LAS VEGAS on Sunday, Feb. 26 (12:00 Noon-1:00 PM, ET) with highlights of the first half of the 2012 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season.  The season started out with unprecedented parity as four different men won the first four races including Ryan Dungey delivering KTM their first Supercross victory and Chad Reed earning Honda their 200th victory.  Frank Frederick narrates the one-hour special for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports’ Steve McKee serves as coordinating producer.

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR also deals EPIC POKER: MIX-MAX MAIN EVENT on Sunday Feb. 26 (1:00-2:00 PM, ET; taped 12/14-18/11) from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. The EPIC POKER: MIX-MAX MAIN EVENT started with players filling eight-handed tables on Day 1 shuffling down to five players on the fourth and final day, and then to where just two remain competing in a unique best two-out-of-three Heads Up format to decide the next Epic Poker Champion.  On one side of the table is Andrew Lichtenberger, a 24-year-old whiz kid known as "Lucky Chewy" and also known as a Heads Up specialist. On the other side of the table is the chip leader, 26-year-old Chris Klodnicki, who has won over $2,000,000 in tournament earnings.  These two young guns bring an aggressive style of play to each and every hand as they vie for more than $800,000 and the right to be called an Epic Poker Champion.  Pat O’Brien and Ali Nejad call all the action for CBS Sports.  CBS Sports’ Jason Ross serves as coordinating producer.

Harold Bryant is Executive Producer and Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
