Lorena Ochoa Defends Title Against All-Star Field

  

            CBS Sports presents final-round coverage of the LPGA KRAFT NABISCO CHAMPIONSHIP on Sunday, April 5 (3:00-6:00 PM, ET) live from Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. as the LPGA TOUR tees off with its first major championship of the year.

  

Verne Lundquist serves as CBS Sports' host of Sunday's final-round coverage along with Judy Rankin and Beth Daniel in the 18th tower.  Jane Crafter and Billy Kratzert serve as on course reporters.

 

The *No. 1-ranked player in the world Lorena Ochoa defends her title against one of the strongest fields of the year which includes 97 players representing 19 countries. The LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship field includes No. 2-ranked Yani Tseng, the 2008 Rolex Rookie of the Year and Jiyai Shin, No. 3 ranked LPGA Tour rookie and 2009 HSBC Women's Champions winner, No. 4 ranked Paula Creamer, past Kraft Nabisco Championship winners Morgan Pressel, Karrie Webb and Juli Inkster; Suzann Pettersen, Natalie Gulbis, Michelle Wie, Angela Stanford, Cristie Kerr, Helen Alfredsson, Angela Park, Ai Miyazato and 2007's LPGA Tour and World Golf Halls of Fame inductee Se Ri Pak who is looking for a win this week to become only the seventh player to complete the LPGA career Grand Slam. Last year, Ochoa won by five strokes over Annika Sorenstam and Pettersen.  This year the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship will celebrate its 38th anniversary at Mission Hills Country Club.
