AUSTRALIAN PETER LONARD DEFENDS TITLE AT "VERIZON HERITAGE" ON APRIL 15-16 ON CBS SPORTS

Australian Peter Lonard defends his 2005 VERIZON HERITAGE title and his first PGA TOUR win against a strong field this weekend as CBS Sports broadcasts the third and final rounds on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16 (3:00-6:00 PM, ET, both days), live from picturesque Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, S.C.

Jim Nantz and Lanny Wadkins provide commentary from the 18th tower and Peter Oosterhuis calls the action at the 17th hole, Gary McCord at the 16th hole and Bobby Clampett at the 15th hole. David Feherty and Peter Kostis serve as on-course reporters.

Lonard was the first Australian to win the VERIZON HERITAGE since Greg Norman in 1988 and the first international player since Argentina's Jose Coceres in 2001. He looks to keep a 12-year streak alive in which no defending champion has missed the cut since Davis Love III in 1993. Lonard will take on a field that includes five-time Heritage winner Love III, Ernie Els, Chad Campbell, Tim Clark, Jose Maria Olazabal, Jesper Parnevik, Chris DiMarco, Rocco Mediate, Darren Clarke, John Daly, Jim Furyk, Fred Funk, Craig Stadler, Nick Faldo, Brad Faxon, Scott Verplank, Nick Price, Mark Calcavecchia, Justin Leonard and Bernhard Langer.

Lance Barrow is Coordinating Producer and Steve Milton is Director of CBS Sports' golf coverage.

Tony Petitti is Executive Vice President and Executive Producer, CBS Sports.
