CBS SPORTS TEES OFF 2015 GOLF COVERAGE WITH MOST EXTENSIVE SCHEDULE IN NETWORK TELEVISION HISTORY BEGINNING WITH “WASTE MANAGEMENT PHOENIX OPEN”

The Masters To Air 60th Consecutive Year on CBS;
Network Broadcasts 25 th Consecutive PGA Championship
CBS Sports begins its 2015 golf coverage and continues to offer viewers the most comprehensive lineup in the history of network television. CBS Sports broadcasts 21 golf tournaments this year, totaling more than 155 hours of coverage, including the Masters, PGA Championship, 19 PGA TOUR events and 10 golf specials.
CBS Sports tees off the 2015 seasonat the Waste Management Phoenix Open on Saturday, Jan. 31 (3:00-6:00 PM, ET) and Sunday, Feb. 1 (3:00-6:30 PM, ET), live from TPC of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Beginning with the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and for all 19 PGA TOUR events this year, CBS Sports’ PGA TOUR coverage will be streamed live on CBSSports.com and PGATOUR.com. The live streaming coverage also will be available on the CBS Sports app for the iPhone, iPad and Android.
Jim Nantz, now in his 30th year overall covering golf for CBS Sports,serves as anchor for the Networks’ golf coverage. Sir Nick Faldo, winner of six majors and more than 40 tournaments worldwide, returns for his eighth year as lead analyst alongside Nantz in the 18th tower. Nantz and Faldo are complemented by CBS Sports’ award-winning golf announce team of Ian Baker-Finch, Gary McCord, David Feherty, Peter Kostis, Bill Macatee and Verne Lundquist.
Highlights of the 2015 schedule:
19 PGA TOUR events: Waste Management Phoenix Open, Farmers Insurance Open, AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Northern Trust Open, RBC Heritage, Zurich Classic of New Orleans, Wells Fargo Championship, Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, AT&T Byron Nelson Championship, the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance, FedEx St. Jude Classic, Travelers Championship, The Greenbrier Classic, John Deere Classic, RBC Canadian Open, Quicken Loans National, WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, Wyndham Championship and The Barclays.
The Masters, the most renowned golf tournament and the longest-running sports event on CBS Sports will be showcased for the 60th consecutive year from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. Coverage includes a pair of 15-minute highlight shows recounting early-round action on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10 (11:35-11:50 PM, ET, both nights). Live coverage of the third round will be broadcast on Saturday, April 11 (3:00-7:00 PM, ET) and live 18-hole final-round coverage will be presented on Sunday, April 12 (2:00-7:00 PM, ET).
The 97th PGA Championship, the season’s final major which annually hosts the strongest field in championship golf, will be broadcast by CBS Sports for the 25th consecutive year. Coverage begins with highlights of early-round action on Thursday, Aug. 13 and Friday, Aug. 14 (12:37-1:07 AM, ET, both nights). Live 18-hole coverage of the third and final rounds will be broadcast on Saturday, Aug. 15 and Sunday, Aug. 16 (2:00-7:00 PM, ET, both days) from Whistling Straights Golf Club in Kohler, Wisc.
CBS Sports will broadcast four PGA TOUR Specials and two PGA of America Specials in addition to other golf specials throughout the year. CBS Sports also will present JIM NANTZ REMEMBERS AUGUSTA: RAYMOND FLOYD AT THE MASTERS on Sunday, April 12 (1:00-2:00 PM, ET).
