Niecy Nash has joined CBS Television Distribution's THE INSIDER as a celebrity panelist, it was announced today by executive producer Linda Bell Blue.

In her new role, Nash will contribute to "The Insider's" panel discussion over the day's most talked about headlines with host Lara Spencer and correspondents Samantha Harris and Chris Jacobs. "We are thrilled to welcome Niecy to ‘The Insider' team," said Bell Blue. "Her comedic timing and extensive performance background makes her the perfect addition to our ‘Insider' panel."

 Nash is best known as host of the Style Network's # 1 show, "Clean House," and star of Comedy Central's "Reno 911."  She has also appeared in numerous feature films, including, "Reno 911: Miami," "Code Name: The Cleaner," "Boys on the Side" and "G-Force." Additionally, Nash has had guest-starring roles on such top-rated series as  "My Name Is Earl," "Monk," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Girlfriends," "NYPD Blue," "That's So Raven," "One on One," "Judging Amy" and "Reba."

Nash will continue to host the Style Network's "Clean House" in addition to her role with "The Insider."

A native of Los Angeles, Nash graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a degree in theatre.
