(March 3, 2009) - Jump back into the irreverently surreal life of aspiring short story writer Andy Richter and his dynamic ensemble of co-workers and friends when ANDY RICHTER CONTROLS THE UNIVERSE: THE COMPLETE SERIES makes its DVD premiere on March 24 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.  The series' creative formula takes viewers through the actual and imaginary storylines by the whimsical narration of Richter himself.  A three-disc set, ANDY RICHTER CONTROLS THE UNIVERSE: THE COMPLETE SERIES features 19 hilarious episodes, including five never-before-aired on network television, and all-new special features including commentary from Richter.

Nominated for an Emmyâ for outstanding writing, ANDY RICHTER CONTROLS THE UNIVERSE was touted as "the funniest new sitcom of the spring" by TIME magazine and declared by US Magazine to have "scaled new heights."   Set in Chicago, the series stars former Conan O'Brien sidekick Andy Richter and Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) as his friend and boss at Pickering Industries, a Fortune 500 company that has its hands in everything from restaurant fryers and jetpacks to consumer products and nuclear weapons.  Telling viewers the stories of his life each week, Richter intermittently invents some of the details to make the stories just a bit more interesting.

The series featured an impressive roster of guest stars including Jon Cryer (Two And A Half Men), Molly Sims (Las Vegas) and Conan O'Brien (Late Night With Conan O'Brien).
