CBS FILMS ESTABLISHES SENIOR MARKETING TEAM

CBS Films has named Teri Boggess, Cherie Crane and Maggie Schmidt to key marketing posts, it was announced today by Debbie Miller, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, for the company (NYSE: CBS and CBS.A). The three marketing executives will be responsible for designing and implementing all CBS Films' creative advertising, media and publicity campaign outreach. Reporting directly to Miller, they will begin employment in February 2009.

Teri Boggess, named Senior Vice President, Creative Advertising Content, joins CBS Films from Warner Bros. Domestic Marketing, where she held the position of Vice President of Promotional Programming. Boggess was responsible for the creation of in-theater trailers, network interstitials, cable long-form programming and Internet content for the theatrical release campaigns for Warner Bros. Pictures. Titles included "The Dark Knight," "The Matrix," the "Harry Potter" franchise, "Sex and the City," "The Departed," "I Am Legend," "Happy Feet" and "Get Smart."
Prior to her position at Warner Bros., Boggess was Manager of Promotional Programming at 20th Century Fox, where she was responsible for the creation of audio and visual press and promotional materials on such films as "Independence Day," "Romeo and Juliet" and "Speed."
Cherie Crane joins CBS Films as Senior Vice President, Media and Research. She previously served as President of Perspective Consulting since 2003. Crane developed integrated marketing campaigns, established strategic positioning and oversaw research for a number of clients including Disney Interactive, Spotrunner.com, Vivendi Visual Entertainment, Mediavest, Jenny Craig, NARAS and NRG.
Previous to her Perspective Consulting position, Crane was Senior Vice President of Sony Pictures Entertainment, overseeing the company's strategic planning and media division. She led Sony Pictures' expansion beyond traditional media to integrated cross-platform campaigns, including interactive, ethnic, walls, mobile and cellular media. Crane joined Sony from Oligvy & Mather in Los Angeles, where she had been a Senior Partner/Media Director.
Maggie Schmidt, Senior Vice President of Publicity for CBS Films, was Vice President of East Coast Publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures from 2004-2005. As head of the New York publicity office, she oversaw national publicity and tri-state promotions outreach on all Warner Bros. theatrical release campaigns. This included establishing innovative marketing and promotional partnerships with Bloomingdales for "The Phantom of the Opera," "The Polar Express" partnership with Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, and the "House of Wax" exhibition with Madame Tussauds.
Prior to her position in New York, Schmidt was Vice President of Publicity at Warner Bros. in Burbank where she designed and implemented campaigns for such films as "The Last Samurai," "Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood," "Insomnia" and "Two Weeks Notice." She joined Warner Bros. from Phoenix Pictures, where she oversaw marketing, publicity and promotion campaigns on such films as "Dick," "Apt Pupil," "Urban Legend" and "The Thin Red Line." She began her publicity career at HBO in 1986 following film school at The American Film Institute.
