Burt Reynolds (Boogie Nights, The Cannonball Run) stars in his Emmy® Award-winning role as Wood Newton, a former Pittsburgh Steeler, who returns to his hometown to coach the local high school football team and raise his family amongst his colorful friends and neighbors. Joining him in this star-studded ensemble comedy are Emmy and Tony® Award winner Michael Jeter (The Green Mile); Emmy Award nominees Charles Durning (Dog Day Afternoon) and Ossie Davis (Do The Right Thing); Tony Award winner Elizabeth Ashley (Broadway's "Take Her, She's Mine"); Golden Globe® nominee Marilu Henner ("Taxi"); and Academy Award® nominee Hal Holbrook (Into The Wild).

Featuring guest stars as diverse as the town of Evening Shade itself, the show's inaugural season included visits from acclaimed actors Billy Bob Thornton and Sally Kellerman, as well as NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw and country music legend Kenny Rogers.  EVENING SHADE: SEASON ONE will be released as a 5-disc set including all 24 Season One episodes including the one-hour pilot and will be available for the suggested retail price of 42.99 US and $47.99 CAN.
