CINDY TEELE PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, LEGAL, CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION

LOS ANGELES - January 22, 2007 - Cindy Teele has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Legal, at CBS Television Distribution, it was announced today by Bruce Pottash, Executive Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs, CTD.

Previously, Teele had been Vice President, Legal. Teele works on all legal matters pertaining to the operations of CTD, including having primary legal responsibility for "Dr. Phil." 

Teele first joined the company in 1991 as a senior attorney for Paramount Domestic Television, quickly rising to Director and then Vice President in September 1994. During her tenure, she has overseen legal work for the Paramount Stations Group and basic cable distribution as well as production legal work for "Hard Copy," "Entertainment Tonight," "The Arsenio Hall Show," "Sightings" and "Life Moments."

Prior to joining Paramount, Teele was an associate attorney in litigation at Lillick McHose and Charles (1986-1987) and Wyman Bautzer Kuchel & Silbert (1987-1991). She holds a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University.
