DR. PHIL McGRAW Mediates as FRED GOLDMAN AND DAUGHTER KIm Confront -- for the first time -- the Author of the notorious O.J. Simpson book IF I DID IT ON DR. PHIL, AIRING MONDAY, OCTOBER 15

Dr. Phil Explains Why He Thinks the Book Stands as Simpson's Confession

Ghost Writer Pablo Tenjevs Reveals What Details He Said Were Omitted

From the Book at Simpson's Request

Hollywood, CA - October 12, 2007 - Dr. Phil McGraw welcomes Fred Goldman and his daughter Kim, the father and sister of Ron Goldman, a victim in the infamous O.J. Simpson murder trial, who confront "If I Did It" ghost writer Pablo Tenjevs for the first time, in a special episode of DR. PHIL, scheduled to air on Monday, October 15 (Check local listings for time and channel).

The Goldmans also share with Dr. Phil their reasons for allowing the publication of the notorious book, in which Simpson hypothetically confesses to the murder of Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.

In addition, Tenjevs defends his reason for wanting to write the book and reveals what facts he said Simpson asked him to delete from the manuscript.

In an exclusive video, Tenjevs narrates a tour of the alley near the murder site, where he alleges Simpson departed from the crime scene in his white Ford Bronco - a neighborhood where Tenjevs lived at the time.

And, for the first time, Dr. Phil weighs in on the text of "If I Did It," with his no-holds-barred honesty, as well as the Goldmans' decision to proceed with its publication.

"I believe that O.J. was not smart enough to maintain the separation between the hypothetical and getting caught up in the interview process. And it's interesting to me, psychologically, that there is a shift in his tone, his demeanor, his language, everything, when he gets into those details."

Dr. Phil will point to the psychological revelations that he believes Simpson unknowingly left in the book -- the very revelations that Dr. Phil believes serve as Simpson's written confession to the brutal double-murder.
