CBS Sports pre-game show COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY hosted by Tim Brando, along with analysts Spencer Tillman and guest analyst Tony Barnhart prior to SEC ON CBS broadcast - South Carolina-LSU

¨ (On Notre Dame Possible 0-4 Start)

Tony Barnhart: Notre Dame 0-4. Charlie Weis Goodnight and Good Luck

Tim Brando: Regis Philbin lead the pep rally, we love Regis. Can Regis help the Irish

Tony Barnhart: Not unless Regis can play quarterback

¨ (On Tennessee)

Tony Barnhart: Tennessee gave up 230 rushing yards to California and 255 to Florida, both on the road. You can't keep playing like that and expect to win.

¨ (On Auburn's Woes this season)

Spencer Tillman: They don't have the horses and the talent to get it done.

¨ (Early Season BCS Talk)

Tony Barnhart: West Virginia is sitting in the four-hole, they need to put up style points

Notes from CBS Sports' lead college football analyst Gary Danielson and Verne Lundquist from South Carolina-LSU game

¨(On two quarterback system)

Gary Danielson: Florida was forced to use Tim Tebow to win (last year). For LSU it's a luxury

Stolen CBS Sports Blazer?

Second half on-camera open

Verne Lundquist: Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson.  I got dressed up (wearing CBS Sports blazer).  What happened to you?

Gary Danielson: Had a little incident.  Somebody took my coat.  It has a big CBS Sports on it. It was someone in a yellow and purple shirt.  We'll survive, we'll survive.

Lundquist: You look great, anyway.  There are more of those.

A few minutes later ...

Danielson: Alert we found my coat.

Lundquist: has an arrest been made?

Danielson: I hope I don't have to stay late to fill out paperwork

Lundquist: You can't run very far in an airport in a CBS jacket

The CHICK-FIL-A SEC TAILGATE is CSTV's new, weekly comprehensive pre-game show, which serves as the ultimate source for coverage of SEC Football, offering a complete look at all the news and action from around the conference, analysis of the week's games, along with the SEC traditions and culture live from the heart of the tailgate parties.  The show will be broadcast live at NOON, ET every week from the site of CBS Sports' SEC Game of the Week.

Today's show originated from the campus of the LSU, where the Tigers hosted the South Carolina Gamecocks.  Hosted by CSTV's Greg Amsinger, the weekly show will feature a rotating crew of analysts.   This week's show featured analysts David Pollack, the 2002 SEC Player of the Year and former LSU quarterback Tommy Hodson

¨(On quarterback situation at LSU)

Tommy Hodson: Coach Miles is going to stick with Matt Flynn. He's been here a long time, he knows the system and he's the field general. (Ryan) Perrilloux was a highly recruited guy, very talented. I am sure Matt Flynn is looking over his shoulder, because he's very capable. As for LSU as a team, it's good to have two guys who can play that position

¨(On South Carolina Defense)

David Pollack: They are coming in not very good against the run, so you can expect LSU to run the ball and run it effectively. If the weather gets bad, you will get a lot of running, South Carolina is going to have to man up upfront. This is going to be an interesting test for them.

¨(On Nick Saban being able to turn teams around)

Tommy Hodson:  He knows it's important to get everyone involved at the University from the president on down. He gets the fans involved and makes them feel like they own part of the team. He's hard on the players, he puts a lot of pressure on them in practice, it makes the games easier. Right or wrong it's Saban's way. Whatever it is, it's the right way. He gets everyone going in the same direction, that's what makes him so successful.

¨ (On Arkansas' running back tandem-Darren McFadden and Felix Jones)

David Pollack: These two have all the skills, physical, and great in space, and they have two of them. They don't have a quarterback that can throw the ball and stretch the filed. They are putting 8 or 9 in the box and those two are shredding defenses. This tandem in unstoppable right now

¨(On SEC)

CBS Sports sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson: It's the scene on the SEC every week. There is always something on the line. There are the rivalries. That's why the SEC surpasses any conference on the country.

¨ David Pollack - Who is you favorite to interview? What is the best interview you have ever done?

Tracy Wolfson: The best, of course, I always loved to interview you, David.
