"THE NFL ON CBS" BROADCASTS SECOND PRESEASON GAME FEATURING SAN DIEGO CHARGERS VISITING ST. LOUIS RAMS LIVE IN PRIME TIME ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 18 ON CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

The CBS Television Network, in its 48th year broadcasting the NFL, continues its preseason schedule with THE NFL ON CBS's second preseason game as the SAN DIEGO CHARGERS visit the ST. LOUIS RAMS on Saturday, Aug. 18 (8:00 PM, ET) live in prime time on the CBS Television Network.

Ian Eagle joins Phil Simms in calling the action from the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo.  Jim Rikhoff produces and Mike Arnold is the lead game director. 

As was the first NFL ON CBS preseason game, this game also will be shown in HDTV with the highest definition television format - 1080i lines of picture resolution - along with 5.1 digital audio.
