RHONDA TROUTMAN BROCKMANN NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, CBS AFFILIATE RELATIONS

Rhonda Troutman Brockmann has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Operations and Business Development, CBS Affiliate Relations, it was announced today by Peter Schruth, President of the division.

In this role, Troutman Brockmann will oversee all communications and operations of the department, as well as coordinate new business development activities and strategies. She will also continue in her role as Chief Counsel for CBS Affiliate Relations, overseeing finance and administrative functions for the division.

"Rhonda is an experienced, hands-on manager who knows the ins and outs of the network affiliate business like few others," said Schruth. "I'm convinced she is the ideal person for this new role, in which she'll help us develop mutually advantageous strategies with our affiliates to expand our offerings both inside our allocated spectrum as well as in the new media space."

Troutman previously served as Vice President, Affiliate Relations. Before that she was Vice President, Business Affairs and Administration for the division. Prior to joining CBS three years ago, Troutman worked as Vice President, NBC Enterprises, with responsibility for domestic ancillary sales and worldwide business affairs, and later, Vice President, Business Affairs, NBC Entertainment, in development and production. Before that, she was Director, International Business Affairs for HBO Sports Licensing.  Prior to joining the corporate ranks, Rhonda was a copyright and trademark litigator at Thompson Coburn law firm.
