CBS SPORTS' DAVID FEHERTY ON PHIL MICKELSON CHANGING SWING COACHES:

It has become an affair for the paparazzi.  We have spy photographs of one coach and he said-she said. The fact is he has decided to go with a different coach. Years ago when players changed coaches it was at a Greyhound bus terminal.  It just wasn't that interesting.  Now you get these little cubbies of minders at the practice grounds guarding the information about the players as if it would be a disaster if it leaked out. They are shooting long distance photographs of Rick Smith in the background and Butch Harmon in the foreground. It's like Princess Di in a bathing suit from a bad angle.  It shouldn't be that big a story.  He's shortening his swing. He's trying to do something different with his long game and he has decided to go with someone who teaches a different method.  It's not that big a storyline. So the guy is going with a different coach.  It's Phil Mickelson. It wouldn't surprise me if he showed up right- handed. He's different and that is one of the things that make him compelling.
