LESLEY VISSER FEATURES A VISIT WITH SEATTLE SEAHAWKS IN PREVIEWING SAN DIEGO-SEATTLE GAME FOR WEEK 16 ON CHRISTMAS EVE, SUNDAY, DEC. 24

             THE NFL ON CBS, home of Super Bowl XLI, broadcasting its 47th year of the NFL continues its 2006 season broadcast schedule on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24 (1:00-7:00 PM, ET) beginning with THE NFL TODAY, the Network's one-hour studio show (12:00 NOON-1:00 PM, ET), live from THE NFL TODAY's new, state-of-the-art, high definition studio in the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. 

            CBS Sports' Lesley Visser previews the San Diego Chargers-Seattle Seahawks game by traveling to Seattle to visit with members of the Seahawks to discuss their team's battle this year to make the playoffs after playing in the Super Bowl last year.  Deb Gelman produces.

             James Brown hosts THE NFL TODAY along with analysts Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason and Shannon Sharpe, NFL Insider Charley Casserly, as well as Visser and Sam Ryan reporting.
