“A Couple of Choices” #009 – Allison’s dreams are proven once again to be based on reality when Devalos instructs her to work with a detective who believes a handful of deaths involving newly weds is being committed by a serial killer and not the murder-suicides they are staged to look like. Meanwhile, Joe is faced with the possibility that he may loose his job, on MEDIUM, Monday, January 17, 2005 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on NBC. Jeff Bleckner directed the episode written by Michael Angeli.

Allison is again faced with proving her abilities when the detective treats her like a crazy woman who takes her dreams too literally. However, after Allison ends up being the only person to believe in his theory he swallows his pride and eventually asks her for help. Allison finds connections between the dead couples that help the detective come up with a suspect. Allison and the detective race the clock to find the killers next couple before they end up being the next victims.

At the same time, Joe is scared of loosing his job when sensitive work material is leaked from his office and he believes he may be at fault.
