CBS Sports CELEBRATES 25th Consecutive Season OF Regular-Season College Basketball
REGULAR SEASON FeaturES Top Teams from TEN Conferences
CBS SPORTS EXPANDS ROSTER OF CoNFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS TO FIVE
CBS Sports' 25th consecutive season of college basketball tips off on Saturday, Dec. 3 (12:00 NOON-2:00 PM, ET) with live national coverage of defending National Champion North Carolina at Kentucky.
CBS Sports' lead announce team for college basketball will be Jim Nantz and Emmy Award-winning analyst Billy Packer. Nantz and Packer will mark their 16th year together as the Network's lead announce team. Bob Dekas serves as Coordinating Producer, College Basketball, CBS Sports, and Bob Fishman is the lead director. Tony Petitti is Executive Producer, CBS Sports.
Highlights of the 14-week Regular-Season schedule include:
51 Regular-Season Match-ups - 10 Top Conferences
42 men's contests, three women's games and five conference championships, featuring teams from eight top conferences including, the Big Ten, Atlantic Coast, Big East, Southeastern, Pac-10, Big 12, West Coast, Conference USA, Missouri Valley and Patriot

With the addition of the Missouri Valley Conference on Sunday, March 5, 2006 CBS Sports will broadcast five Conference Championships.
Conference USA, Pac-10, SEC and Big Ten crown their regular-season champions and earn automatic bids to the 2006 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship - Saturday and Sunday, March 11 & 12, 2006.
For the 25th consecutive year, CBS Sports' college basketball coverage concludes with exclusive network coverage of the 2006 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship from the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Ind.
