CBS SPORTS’ 2025 PGA TOUR SCHEDULE TEES OFF THIS WEEK
2025 ‘GOLF ON CBS’ Season Begins Friday-Saturday with Farmers Insurance Open;
Four Consecutive Weekends of ‘West Coast Swing’ PGA TOUR Coverage on CBS & Paramount+
CBS Sports is set to tee off its 68th consecutive year televising the PGA TOUR this week, with multiplatform coverage airing on the CBS Television Network and streaming live on Paramount+. Coverage begins with the third round of the Farmers Insurance Open on Friday, Jan. 24 (5:00-8:00 PM, ET) and final round on Saturday, Jan. 25 (4:00-8:00 PM, ET).
CBS Sports’ coverage of the West Coast Swing will be anchored by two signature events, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am next Saturday, Feb. 1 (3:00-7:00 PM, ET) and Sunday, Feb. 2 (3:00-6:30 PM, ET) and The Genesis Invitational two weeks later on Saturday, Feb. 15 (3:00-7:00 PM, ET) and Sunday, Feb. 16 (3:00-6:30 PM, ET).
Acclaimed GOLF ON CBS Announcer Roster Returns for 2025 Season
Complementing the Network’s roster of announcers, Sellers Shy serves as Coordinating Producer for CBS Sports’ golf coverage, alongside Steve Milton as Lead Director. David Berson is President & CEO, CBS Sports. Harold Bryant is Executive Producer and Executive Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
Wide-Ranging Technology & Broadcast Enhancements to Bring Viewers Closer to the Action

The popularized CBS Sports-driven “walk-and-talk” interviews returns, with players “mic’d up” live as they navigate their round.

Flycams deployed on the West Coast Swing to showcase picturesque views of the par-3 17th hole at Pebble Beach along with the exciting atmosphere of the par-3 16th hole at the WM Phoenix Open.

Live drone and aerial coverage providing scenic views, complemented by a Goodyear blimp throughout the West Coast Swing, along with a second drone being deployed specifically for ball tracing and data tracking at the Farmers Insurance Open and AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Multiple TrackMan high tracers throughout the West Coast Swing, as well as two shallow depth-of-field (“Atlas”) mini-Steadicams showcasing players inside the ropes with a cinematic feel.

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will feature a camera crane at the difficult par-5 14th hole that will include robotic technology for incoming shot tracing.

An immersive “Falcon 360” (degree) camera, showcasing vibrant panoramic views of each course venue.

GOLFTEC’s OptiMotion swing analysis technology returns for signature PGA TOUR events in 2025, presenting viewers with biomechanical swing data while comparing and contrasting to other golfers.

TrackMan technology and data utilizing 3D radar tracking (led by live tee shot tracing) will provide dynamic swing visual metrics such as shot apex, ball speed, distance, and curvature. RF mini cameras also will offer tracking capability on approach shots from the fairway.

CBS Sports’ third round on-course set configuration with Knost and Balionis will return at select events, including the par-3 16th hole at the WM Phoenix Open and the “rink” hole at the RBC Canadian Open.

Continued use of the constant leaderboard, along with the Network’s “Eye on the Course” commercial break format, allowing viewers to continue following the action.
2025 GOLF ON CBS Schedule & Programming Highlights

CBS Sports will present weekend coverage for six of the eight signature events on the PGA TOUR in 2025, with players not already qualified having an opportunity to earn their way into those tournaments through strong performances in full-field events via the “Aon Next 10” and “Aon Swing 5” series.

CBS Sports also will provide multiplatform, complementary golf programming throughout the season on CBS and streaming on Paramount+, including five PGA TOUR specials and five Korn Ferry Tour specials, as well as 10 episodes of COURSE RECORD WITH MICHAEL BREED. Additionally, CBS Sports Network will air classic PGA TOUR telecasts each week leading up to the tournament on CBS, as well as encore final round broadcasts on Monday nights.

Throughout the season, CBS Sports HQ, the 24/7 streaming sports news network, will deliver additional golf coverage with daily in-depth programming, round previews, live look-ins, recaps, highlights, advanced stats, SportsLine betting picks, and more.
