Singer/Songwriter Neil Sedaka Guest Stars As Himself

"Sandwiched Out" -- When the guys' neighborhood restaurant, Coopers, names a new sandwich "The Deacon," Doug gets angry, claiming that Deacon is taking credit for his sandwich creation, on THE KING OF QUEENS, Monday, Oct. 17 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rob Schiller, one of the series' executive producers, directed the episode written by Nick Bakay and David Bickel.

As Doug desperately tries to get some type of food named after him in response to "The Deacon," he attempts to sabotage Deacon's glory by claiming that he found a mysterious object in his "Deacon" while eating it. Meanwhile, when Holly tells Carrie that she's moving to Manhattan with her new boyfriend, Carrie becomes jealous of Holly's exciting new life and tries to convince Holly that her new man can't be trusted. When Arthur receives the news of Holly's pending departure, he's so distraught that he turns to his old pen pal, Neil Sedaka, to discuss his woes.
