TOP EUROPEAN SOCCER TEAMS COME TO CBS SPORTS NETWORK WITH ‘AMOS WOMEN’S FRENCH CUP’

Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain to Compete in Four-Match Tournament this August

This August, CBS Sports Network will air all four matches of the 2022 AMOS Women’s French Cup, a four-team international soccer tournament featuring some of Europe’s top clubs – Barcelona (Primera División), Bayern Munich (Frauen-Bundesliga), Manchester United (Barclays Women’s Super League) and Paris Saint-Germain (Division 1 Féminine).

The tournament kicks off on Tuesday, August 16, as Bayern Munich faces Barcelona at 12 PM, ET, followed by Paris Saint-Germain vs. Manchester United at 3 PM, ET. The final takes place at 3 PM, ET on Friday, August 19, preceded by the third-place match at 12 PM, ET. All matches will be played at Stade Ernest-Wallon in Toulouse, France.

CBS Sports will provide additional in-depth coverage of the tournament across its digital and social platforms, including CBSSports.com; the CBS Sports app; CBS Sports HQ, the 24/7 streaming sports news service; and the Attacking Third podcast hosted by Sandra Herrera and Lisa Roman.

All four clubs in the AMOS Women’s French Cup compete in the top women’s soccer leagues in their respective countries. Since forming, Barcelona has won seven league titles, nine Copas de la Reina, two Spanish Supercups and one UEFA Women's Champions League, and has reached the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in three of the last four seasons.Paris Saint-Germain has reached the UEFA Women's Champions League final twice and has clinched one Division 1 championship and three French Cups in its history. Bayern Munich has earned four Frauen-Bundesliga titles.
