Executive Producer and Executive Vice President, Production, CBS Sports
Harold Bryant, a 38-time Emmy Award-winner, joined CBS Sports as a Feature Producer/Associate Producer in June 1997. Prior to assuming his current role in November 2020, Bryant previously held various production leadership positions, including Executive Producer & Senior Vice President (2014-2020), Executive Producer & Vice President (2011-2014), Vice President (2008-2011) and Coordinating Producer (1999-2008).
Bryant oversees production, on-air talent and content for all CBS Sports programming which includes CBS Sports HQ, CBS Sports Network and CBSSports.com. Bryant has held an integral role in nine Super Bowl broadcasts on CBS and led production efforts for six including Super Bowl LVIII, the first-ever Super Bowl held in Las Vegas and the most-watched telecast in history at the time with a Total Audience Delivery of 123.4 million average viewers across all platforms.
In addition to NFL ON CBS coverage, Bryant oversees CBS Sports’ live game and studio coverage for marquee properties such as the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, the Masters, PGA Championship and PGA TOUR, UEFA Champions League and college football including BIG TEN ON CBS, among others.
Additional career highlights include overseeing unforgettable on-air moments such as Tiger Woods’ emotional 2019 Masters win, Rory McIlroy’s completion of the career Grand Slam in 2025 and the UConn Huskies men’s basketball team’s historic back-to-back championships in 2023 and 2024.
Bryant began his career in 1987 working for WWOR-TV as a news and sports production assistant for all New York Mets home games. In 1990 he served as a line producer for the startup sports network, Sports News Network.
From 1991-94, Bryant served as a production assistant at NBC Sports where he worked three seasons of NFL and NBA, as well as the 1992 Olympic Summer Games in Barcelona, Spain. While at NBC Sports, he also worked on events including world figure skating championships in Prague, the French Open and Notre Dame football. From 1994-96, Bryant worked as a feature producer producing over 100 features for Atlanta Olympic Broadcasting, the host broadcaster for the 1996 Olympic Summer Games. Bryant also served as a producer for WBIS-TV producing halftime and post-game shows for New York Knicks, New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils games, as well as sports features and updates for the network’s business shows.
Bryant graduated from Rutgers University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts and a concentration in television.
