“60 MINUTES” FINISHES THE WEEK AT #3
MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE 24TH STRAIGHT TIME
Makes the Top 10 in Key Demos
60 MINUTES finished the week as America’s #3 primetime program in viewers, making the top 10 list for the 24th straight time. The CBS newsmagazine drew 8.74 million viewers according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, April 11.
The broadcast ranked at #3 or higher for 15 weeks this season, including the last eight times. 60 MINUTES has finished at #5 or higher 19 times.
60 MINUTES was also a top 10 broadcast in demos, scoring a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54 good for #5 and 0.9/06 in adults 18-49 that tied for #5.
Sunday’s 60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley’s interview with Fed Chair Jerome Powell, Bill Whitaker’s look at military programs underway for therapies and vaccines to help stop future pandemics, and a Jon Wertheim story about the prolific career of rock and pop star Prince, whose un-released music will be featured in a posthumous album this summer.
