BOSTON – Sept. 4, 2025 – CBS Boston announced today that Rob Cartwright has been named vice president of news for WBZ-TV, his first day is Sept. 29. He will report to Johnny Green, president and general manager of CBS Boston (WBZ-TV). Cartwright joins WBZ from CBS affiliate KEYE-TV in Austin, and Telemundo Austin, where he served as news director since 2014.
