CHRISTIAN LEBLANC, ONE OF "THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' " MOST POPULAR ACTORS, CROSSES OVER TO "AS THE WORLD TURNS," MONDAY, APRIL 4 AND TUESDAY, APRIL 5 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' shrewd attorney Michael Baldwin, played by four-time Emmy Award nominee Christian LeBlanc, will cross over to the CBS Daytime Drama AS THE WORLD TURNS, Monday, April 4 and Tuesday April 5 on the CBS Television Network.

Michael Baldwin will travel from Genoa City to Oakdale on the recommendation of attorney Jessica Griffin (Tamara Tunie) to work on a custody case that will rock the small town. Ironically, LeBlanc made his daytime debut on ATWT in 1983 playing Kirk McColl, whose girlfriend, Marcy Thompson, was played at the time by Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei.

"With a custody battle like the one about to take place in Oakdale, it is a natural fit for Michael Baldwin to be the attorney involved in the case," said Barbara Bloom, Senior Vice President, Daytime Programs for CBS. "It's also very exciting for Christian to be able to go back to his old stomping grounds, even if only for a few episodes."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, winner of the 2004 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Drama, has been the Number One rated daytime drama for the past 16 years and will soon celebrate its 32nd anniversary. The show broadcasts weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM ET, 11:30 AM-12:30 PM PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company in association with Sony Pictures Television. AS THE WORLD TURNS, winner of the 2003 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Daytime Drama, will soon celebrate its 49th anniversary. It is broadcast weekdays (2:00-3:00 PM, 1:00-2:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is a Procter & Gamble Production.
