Gil Birmingham is an award-winning film and television actor best known for portraying Thomas Rainwater in the long-running TV series YELLOWSTONE. He is currently reprising the role in the hit series MARSHALS. Birmingham is also widely recognized as Billy Black in the blockbuster Twilight Saga, as well as for his compelling performance in “Hell or High Water” co-starring opposite Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges.

Birmingham has had recurring guest roles on the Netflix series “House of Cards” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” Freeform’s “Siren,” and TNT’s “Animal Kingdom.” He starred in the limited series “Pieces of Her” opposite Toni Collette, the feature film “The Marsh King’s Daughter” alongside Daisy Ridley and the FX series “Under the Banner of Heaven” opposite Andrew Garfield. Birmingham most recently guest-starred in episodes of “Poker Face” led by Natasha Lyonne and CBS’ hit series TRACKER. He currently voices Forge in the Marvel animated series “X-Men ‘97,” now in season two.

He will next appear in the upcoming sequel “Wind River: Rising,” adding another exciting project to his already impressive resume.

In addition to acting, he is an accomplished guitar player and singer who performs for fans in various venues with his blues/rock style.
