Diane Farr

Diane Farr is a dramatic and comedic actress, writer, producer and director. She has starred in FIRE COUNTRY as Sharon Leone for five seasons. She is most known for her TV roles starring in “Rescue Me,” “Numbers,” “Californication,” “Roswell” and 200 episodes as a late-night talk show host on MTV’s LOVELINE.

 

Farr’s film credits include “Twelve Feet Deep” and “Palm Swings.” She has also sold seven TV series to cable and network television – some based on her own books: The Girl Code (translated into seven languages) and Kissing Outside the Lines. Farr also took over Dave Barry’s Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper column, penning a humorous comment on pop culture and politics every month in 300 English-language newspapers around the world for 12 years.

 

Farr produced the HBO documentary “Children of God: Lost and Found,” chronicling the lives of children who escaped an apocalyptic cult, and has directed two episodes of FIRE COUNTRY.

 

She has three children with whom she has travelled to all seven continents. She is an avid motorcycle rider, jet-ski enthusiast and champion of women’s health. Her birthday is Sept. 7. Follow her on Instagram at @getdianefarr.
