Ginger Gonzaga is an actor, writer, improvisor and director whose career continues to evolve with exciting and challenging projects.

In addition to her starring role in TRUE LIES, Gonzaga currently stars as Nikki in the series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” and with her comedic timing and improvisation, she has turned Nikki into a beloved new character.

Additional television credits include memorable performances for the groundbreaking original series “Togetherness” from The Duplass Brothers, as well as their musical episode of “Room 104.” After playing Maggie, the impressionable free spirit on SHOWTIME’s “I’m Dying Up Here,” she joined the Michel Gondry-directed series “Kidding” as Vivian, a sardonic but soulful cancer patient.

Gonzaga also appeared on “Chance,” as the bilingual coyote Lorena, opposite Hugh Laurie and Ethan Suplee; “Spaceforce,” as a satirical version of AOC dubbed “AYC,” opposite Steve Carrell and John Malkovich; “Mixology” and “Wrecked.” She was also the host of the comedic daily pop culture recap show “The Morning Show,” for which she also wrote. Other television credits include recurring roles on Tad Quill’s Jane Lynch comedy “Angel from Hell,” “Legit,” “Grace and Frankie” and “Blindspotting.”

Gonzaga’s film debut was in Seth MacFarlane’s popular 2012 comedy “Ted,” followed by Demetri Martin’s dramedy and Tribeca Film Festival Winner “Dean,” opposite Demetri Martin and Gillian Jacobs, and Henry Phillips’ “And Punching the Clown,” opposite J.K Simmons and Jim Jefferies. 

As a writer, she has sold multiple shows. She made her directorial debut with a short film she wrote, “Your Day,” which starred herself and Jason Ritter. 

Gonzaga received a B.A in political science/international relations and a minor in Chinese from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Born and raised in Modesto, Calif., she moved to L.A. to pursue a career in comedy, studying improv at The Groundlings, Second City and the Upright Citizens Brigade.
