Greg Rikaart

(Kevin Fisher on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS)

Greg Rikaart returned to THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as fan favorite “Kevin Fisher” in June 2019. He originated the role in 2003.

When Greg was 11 years old he forgot the lyrics to Grow For Me and in frustration cursed into a microphone at a summer camp production of Little Shop of Horrors.  Despite this rock bottom moment, he prevailed (not in that production, but, like, in life) and has gone on to have a successful acting career.

In 2003, after completing a recurring gig on Dawson’s Creek, Greg became a series regular on The Young and The Restless where he has played the oft-misguided, yet lovable Kevin Fisher ever since.  He won a Daytime Emmy for his work in 2005 and has been a multiple Emmy nominee in years since.

He has also worked on other series including Modern Family, Bones, and The Closer, and landed a recurring role on Major Crimes as well as a Daytime Emmy-nominated stint on Days of Our Lives as “Leo Stark” making appearances on both Days of Our Lives and the Peacock limited series, Beyond Salem.

Greg is very proud to be a recipient of the Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award for his advocacy work and has hosted fundraisers for GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network) helping to ensure that any LGBTQ adolescent has a safe space in school free of bullying.

Greg is married to writer/showrunner Rob Sudduth.  They have an incredible son named Monte, whose impression of a mountain lion can definitely beat yours.

His birthday is February 26.  Follow him on Instagram and Twitter: @gregrikaart
