- Airdate:
Kane Brown dishes on co-hosting the CMT Awards for the first time on live television with Kelsea Ballerini. "We both have shows before, so we don't get to rehearse it together, but we're just going to try and bring as much energy as possible to the show, and we're in a whole other city...bringing it to Austin for the first time in 20 years...it's going to be an amazing show." Brown will also be performing “Thank God” with wife, Katelyn Brown and shares, "I can't lie, I'm excited to see my wife up there. Other than that, you know, Carly Pearce really blew my mind a couple of years ago with her performance. And she's doing it with Gwen Stefani now so I'm really excited to see everybody." On managing his nerves on stage, he says, "I wish I could give some of laid backness away. I'm too laid back a lot of times, but it honestly makes me not have any nerves ever. So, I don't ever have to prepare for anything, I just wing everything. I'm from Georgia, whatever happens, happens." The 2023 CMT Music Awards airs live Sunday, April 2nd (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

- Kane Brown on ‘Fire Country’ Acting Debut; Has Sights on Being in ‘The Avengers’
- Airdate:
Friday on “The Talk” Kane Brown discusses his acting debut on next week’s “Fire Country” and shares how it was filming in Canada. "It was so cold. We stayed out there for like 6 or 7 hours. Remembering my lines was probably the easiest thing I guess just because of my music. But I do not do cold, so I think that was the hardest part. The actors were friendly as well, made me feel like I was at home.” On his first scene, he reveals, “I'm on a train, I open the door for the first time, and I'm supposed to be serious…But I was so excited that when I saw the set and fire and everything, I smiled. And they were like no Kane, you have to be serious here you're not supposed to smile right here. I was like sorry guys I'm just excited. It was such an honor." So, what’s next for Brown as an actor? "I would love to be on ‘The Avengers,’ I could take out the trash or something, work my way in it."

I didn't kiss. He didn't kiss, and we backed off and we both thought, oh, poor thing, they can't kiss...we were both nervous." Rinna sends a message back to Hamlin, "I feel so blessed, you know. I got really, really lucky." On her secret to a lasting marriage, she reveals, "I think we have a great mutual respect for one another. And I think that goes a long way...I really dig him, and I have from day one. I think that's helpful. - ‘Insider Buzz’: Kelly Ripa Says She Still Feels ‘sexism’ with Some Male Guests on ‘Live’
- Airdate:
During Wednesday‘s “Insider Buzz” on “The Talk,” chief correspondent of Variety, Elizabeth Wagmeister discusses her candid and interview with Kelly Ripa for this week’s “Power of Women” Issue. "She wants women around the world to know that if you are not being treated well in the workplace that you should stand up for yourself." Wagmeister also shares that Rippa “felt struggles to get fair pay…until about 2016” with the departure of Michael Strahan. “Love that, that’s my girl,” responds guest co-host Lisa Rinna. Wagmeister adds what didn’t make the article, is that Rippa “still notices moments of sexism ingrained in society, such as, sometimes male guests come on the show and they’ll say hi to her co-host Ryan Seacrest but not her. Rinna adds, “That’s surprising, actually.”

- Zach Braff Says 'A Good Person' was 'Inspired' By Amanda Kloots; Talks Florence Pugh
- Airdate:
Monday on "The Talk" Zach Braff opens up about his new movie "A Good Person" and how good friend, Amanda Kloots inspired him during a difficult time of loss for them both. "It's very surreal to be talking about this with you because you and I went through this thing together. I had lost my sister to an aneurysm in 2016...and then I lost my father to cancer, and then the pandemic happened. And Amanda and I went through what we went through with Nick [Cordero] getting covid and being hospitalized. And I sat down to write this story about my own grief and loss, and I really wanted to write about standing back up. And I was very, very inspired by you. Amanda was an inspiration for this story, because the story is about how we human beings are resilient and can stand back up after loss and grief and addiction and see hope on the horizon. So, I wrote this during lockdown while Amanda and I were experiencing this great tragedy of loss of our Nick. Guest co-host Lisa Rinna asks, "Did you always know who you were going to cast in these roles?" Braff responds, "This is bizarre to talk to you about because I wrote it for Florence [Pugh]. And I don't know if you know this, she's obsessed with you." Rinna reacts, "I love Florence. I know, and I'm obsessed equally with her." Braff continues, "We were dating at the time, we were in lockdown together. Florence was experiencing all that Amanda and I were experiencing with us. And I just think she's the most fantastic young actress in the world. I know I'm biased, but wait until you see this performance, it's unlike anything I've ever seen...I wrote it for her."

"I feel a little protective, because I love my Harry Styles and I'm not sure that the world needs to see that." "I am happy to see that," adds Kloots. Rinna reacts, "Are you?
