- Shemar Moore on 'Y&R' Return, Kristoff St. John and Favorite Moments
- Airdate:
Thursday on "The Talk" Shemar Moore opens up about returning to "The Young and the Restless" for a special episode this Monday. "I'm going back to where it all started. That was my first home here in the game of Hollywood. Without 'The Young and the Restless' I wouldn't be sitting here, and I had eight amazing years on that show. And my brother, may he rest in peace, Kristoff St. John, he is a large reason that I have found the success I have...I got on that show in the beginning, I was scared to death. I was nervous. I was like I'm not supposed to be here. What if I can't handle it and he basically just embraced me and said, step by step we're gonna get you there. And he gave me the confidence, he gave me the belief and as I started to climb higher, he was pushing me from the back going 'go brother go'. So, to go back home, I would go back to 'Young and the Restless' any time they asked me." He adds, "I started my career 29 years ago on that show and 'The Young and the Restless' is having their 50th and that's a landmark. That's something special." After showing a sneak peek of his upcoming appearance, Moore opens up about some of his favorite memories which includes receiving an 'Emmy in 2000' and presenting Susan Lucci with her first Emmy Award. "I ad-libbed, the streak is over, Susan Lucci."

On being a girl dad, "It's amazing. First of all, I have to give so much kudos Jesiree, my girl...we actually dated 15 years ago and to be honest it was wonderful. I just wasn't ready for that settled down family thing, I got a little spooked. And then God is good, I think Mom's karma brought us back full circle, and here we are." Dizon jokes, "He's changed one diaper... it was a really long diaper change, it took him a long time." Moore reacts, "She changes diapers in like, 12.2 seconds. - 'Jurassic World Dominion': Bryce Dallas Howard on 'stunts'; Ditching 'dieting' and Laura Dern Scene
- Airdate:
Bryce Dallas Howard dishes on "Jurassic World: Dominion" Thursday on "The Talk." Howard shares how her character, Claire, has changed since she stepped into the franchise in 2013. "Quite a bit, because my character in the beginning of the franchise...she's pretty much a villain, and then goes through a significant journey and evolution. That's of course wonderful and great and exactly what you want to do as an actor. But for me personally, I'm a very physical person, and I love getting to do stunts, and I love having those kinds of physical goals where there's a skill set that you get to learn or something like that. And so, as more of these movies happened, they sort of tailored that more to me, which was really wonderful. And then something else which was so huge, is that between the first movie and the last movie I stopped dieting. I'll never diet again as long as Iive. And so, I had nutrition, and you can do more stunts when you have food, and so I really felt by the final film, I felt kind of like my most empowered as a person." On her scene with Laura Dern, Howard says, "Getting to do this scene together where we're faced with a bunch of just very disgusting bugs, it was so much fun because we knew there was going to be chaos. And at some point, we were going to need to be, you know, pretty like, bad A's. And an axe was involved, so very therapeutic, and it kept kind of building...it was very fun to get to do that."
