- The Talk Flashback: Lisa Marie Presley Talks Growing Up at Graceland; Says Dad Elvis 'wasn't strict at all'
- Airdate:
- Lisa Marie Presley joined 'The Talk' on September 13, 2013 and opened up about spending time with her father at Graceland and about their father-daughter relationship. "I remember lots of conversations. He and I spent a lot of time together upstairs... His room and my room where upstairs and we spent a lot of time up there. That's when I really got to be with him." She adds, "He was not strict at all...I was truthfully a terror to be honest. My mom was completely the opposite. She was really strict. So, it was very confusing when I had to go back and forth between the two." She also discusses which parents' characteristic she takes after most. "Probably more of my father, I lean more towards that side of the family a little... Although I have my mother's strength, I think. His personality, sort of his intensity levels I can emulate sometimes pretty well...and obviously mannerisms."

- Amanda Kloots Reacts to being 'scolded' While Grieving Late Mother-in-Law Lesley Cordero
- Airdate:
Wednesday on "The Talk" Amanda Kloots opens up on being judged for her grief process on social media after the recent passing of her late husband Nick Cordero's mother, Lesley. "I think this is really, really important guys, which is why I posted about it on my Instagram page. The process of grieving, you know grief in general, is so your own. And it's very easy to judge people...but I think one of things that I've really learned through my process of grief, and it's been extremely powerful, is what helps me heal, and what brings me a release of that trauma and that pain...you have to be able to learn the tools that you need in order to allieve that pain and that heaviness, or else it eats you up inside and it keeps you stuck. So, to give you a little background, I posted something on my Instagram today because I lost my mother-in-law last week, very sudden, and the next day I taught a fitness class. Which is very me, very how I deal with pain and grief...and I was scolded by somebody on Instagram saying how dare I do this. And I wrote back to her...And she apologized, and it was all fine. But the sad part about it is that's not the first time somebody has told me how I should be grieving. So, I think what I want to say today, to anyone out there that is grieving, don't listen to anybody on how you should be feeling with your pain, with your suffering, with your mental health. You have to find the ways that help you, and don't let anyone's judgement steer you in any other direction." She adds, "Also know that somebody that is grieving is smiling one second and then 30 seconds later bursting into tears. So if you see them smiling, cheer them on because they need those smiles, and then hold them in your heart when they are crying, because it is a roller coaster of emotions."
