“THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR NOV. 2-6
For the week ending Friday, Nov. 6 (week #7 of the 2020-2021 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (airing from its new studio at The Ed Sullivan Theater) averaged a season best audience of 3.04 million viewers, beating “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.82m) by +67% and “The Tonight Show” (1.39m) by +119%.
Season-to-date, THE LATE SHOW is first in viewers (2.97m), leading “Jimmy Kimmel Live” by +74% (versus 1.71m) and “The Tonight Show” by +101% (versus 1.48m). THE LATE SHOW is also leading both competitors’ late night offerings in adults 18-49 viewers (450,000 for COLBERT vs. Kimmel’s 394,000 and Fallon’s 345,000).
Finally, for the week ending Friday, Nov. 6, THE LATE SHOW was the #1 late night show for views of current content (clips posted during the week) on YouTube, outpacing the closest competition by over 8 million views and highlighted by Colbert’s Thursday, Nov. 5 monologue, which has 7.7 million views on the platform. Across all platforms, the Thursday monologue has amassed over 19.5 million total views (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram). (Source: Tubular Labs)
