Katherine Kelly Lang originated the role of “Brooke Logan,” the show’s quintessential heroine, at THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’s inception on March 23, 1987.

Lang has received four Daytime Emmy® nominations and one win. Two nominations are in the category of “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series” first in 2014 and again in 2020, and one nomination in the category of “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series” in 2013, all for her role on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. In 2014, Lang was nominated and won a Daytime Emmy® as part of the producing team of the digital drama “Venice the Series.”

Lang is one of three children from a show business family. Her parents are the late Keith Wegeman, an Olympic long‑jump skier who went on to play television’s “Jolly Green Giant,” and Judith Lang, a film, television, and commercial actress. Her grandfather was Charles Lang, one of the most outstanding cinematographers of Hollywood’s Golden Age, who was nominated for 18 Academy Awards and won in 1932 for “A Farewell to Arms.” 

  Lang began her career at an early age by appearing in print advertisements and commercials. Her first acting role was in “Skatetown USA” as the lead’s (Patrick Swayze) sister. She went on to appear on the television series, “Happy Days,” “Masquerade,” “Magnum P.I.,” and “Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years.” Soon after, she was cast as “Gretchen” on the Network’s THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, which led to appearances in films such as “The Nightstalker,” “Mr. Boogedy” and “‘Til the End of the Night.” She also appeared in many of the Beach Boys’ music videos,embodying the classic California Girl. She has had many roles in foreign productions, including a guest-star arc on the critically acclaimed Greek television series “8 lexeis,” in which she spoke Greek; the Australian production of “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here,” and two Italian films, “Odissea Nell’ Ospizio” and “Dagli Occhi dell’ Amore.” She was also a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars, Italy.”

With an enormous love for sports and the outdoors, Lang spends her days off running triathlons and participating in Ironman competitions around the world, as well as riding her bike and horses. She owns several horses and competes in 25-mile and 50-mile cross‑country races. At the special invitation of the Sheik of Qatar, she placed third in the International Desert Marathon in 1996.

An avid athlete as well as a devoted philanthropist., Lang is the Ambassador and Spokesperson for Amgen’s “Breakaway from Cancer” Foundation, an organization that offers people affected by cancer a broad range of support services. Additionally, she sits on the Board of Directors for “Women for Tri,” an organization dedicated to increasing awareness and interest in the sport of triathlon. In October of 2015, Lang represented “Women for Tri” in the Ironman World Championship competition in Kona, HI, a race that consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run. She prepared for this competition by participating in Half-Ironman races in South Africa, Abu Dhabi, Oceanside, Pescara, Austria, Florida, and Australia. 

In 2020, Lang and her partner, Dominique Zoida, opened their first retail business, Benheart USA, located on Santa Monica Boulevard just off Rodeo Drive, in Beverly Hills. The boutique is the culmination of a partnership between the couple and Benheart’s founder, Hicham Benmbarek Sheraian (Ben) who founded the Benheart brand after having a heart transplant in Italy. Benheart USA showcases beautiful and unique luxury Italian leather pieces, some handmade right in the boutique. Lang lives in Los Angeles with Dominique Zoida. She is a devoted mother to her children, Julian and Jeremy Snyder, Zoe and Danyelle D’Andrea, and her two grandchildren, Zuma and Reign.
