Scott Caan stars as Special Agent Nick Schaeffer in CBS’ new series NCIS: NEW YORK, from the world’s most successful television franchise.

 

Caan is known for his starring role in the hit Golden Globe-nominated series HAWAII FIVE-O, which lasted 10 seasons on the Network. Additionally, he starred in the last two seasons of “Entourage” for HBO.

 

The actor, writer and director starred in Steven Soderbergh’s “Ocean’s Eleven” remake along with “Ocean’s Twelve” and “Ocean’s Thirteen”; the thriller “Into the Blue”; and Nicole Holofcener's indie comedy “Friends with Money.” Caan also wrote, directed and starred in the feature films “Dallas 362” and “The Dog Problem.” Also, in 2023, Scott wrote and starred in the film “One Day as a Lion” with J.K. Simmons and Frank Grillo.

 

This fall Caan stars opposite Brad Pitt and Elizabeth Debicki in David Fincher’s upcoming film “The Adventures of Cliff Booth,” the sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood.”

 

Caan is also a published playwright with some of his successes including “Two Wrongs,” “No Way Around But Through” and “The Trouble With Where We Come From.”

 

Caan’s birthday is Aug. 23.
