Gil Birmingham is an award-winning film and television actor. He is most known for his role as Thomas Rainwater in the long-running TV series YELLOWSTONE and Billy Black in the blockbuster films “The Twilight Saga,” as well as for his powerful performance in “Hell or High Water” co-starring opposite Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges.

Birmingham has had recurring guest roles on the Netflix series “House of Cards” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” Freeform’s “Siren” and TNT's “Animal Kingdom.” He starred in the limited series “Pieces of Her” opposite Toni Collette, the feature film “The Marsh King’s Daughter” alongside Daisy Ridley and the FX series “Under the Banner of Heaven” opposite Andrew Garfield. Birmingham most recently guest-starred in an episode of “Poker Face” led by Natasha Lyonne and currently portrays the voice of Forge in the Marvel animated series “X-Men ‘97,” now in season two.

He will next appear in the upcoming sequel “Wind River: The Next Chapter,” adding more exciting projects to his already impressive career.

In addition to acting, he is an accomplished guitar player and singer who performs for fans in various venues with his blues/rock style.
