Eric Guggenheim is a writer, executive producer and co-showrunner on MAGNUM P.I., which he co-developed with Peter M. Lenkov. Prior to MAGNUM P.I., Guggenheim was a writer, executive producer and co-showrunner on HAWAII FIVE-0, on the Network. He joined the show as a co-producer in season four and served as co-showrunner for seasons seven and eight.
Before joining HAWAII FIVE-0, Guggenheim was a writer on the first four seasons of the drama “Parenthood,” becoming a co-producer in the show’s fourth season. As a feature writer, he has written scripts for Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Bros. and Fox 2000. Also, he has written one-hour drama pilots for Lifetime, ABC Family and USA Network.
Guggenheim was born and raised on Long Island and is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter and their dog, Indy.
