Montana Jordan was born in Longview, Texas.  Though he had no previous acting experience, his funny, outgoing personality prompted many in his small, east Texas town of Ore City to suggest that he respond to a local casting call.

At 12 ½ years-old Montana beat out nearly 10,000 kids for his acting debut opposite Josh Brolin in the Netflix feature “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter” directed by Jody Hill and produced by Academy Award winner Scott Rudin. 

Montana then made his television debut when he booked “Georgie”, Sheldon Cooper’s older brother, on “Young Sheldon” on the Network. The series was produced by Chuck Lorre and was the spinoff of the hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory”. Montana also portrayed ‘Georgie’ in an episode on the final season of “The Big Bang Theory.”

In a testament to how beloved his character “Georgie” has become, CBS ordered a spinoff series starring Montana that premiered in the Fall of 2024 titled, “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” that quickly held the title as the #1 comedy on television.
