Max Thieriot stars in the new drama FIRE COUNTRY, which he co-wrote and produces with Jerry Bruckheimer Television. The show is inspired by his experiences growing up in Northern California. He will concurrently appear in the sixth season of the hit military drama series SEAL TEAM for Paramount+ opposite David Boreanaz.
Thieriot made his television series debut playing Norman Bates’ (Freddie Highmore) brother, Dylan Massett, on the series “Bates Motel.” He also played Jack Hays in the miniseries “Texas Rising” and co-starred in “Texas Rangers” opposite Bill Paxton.
Additional credits include “The Pacifier,” “Nancy Drew,” “Jumper,” “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl,” “Chloe,” “My Soul to Take” and the horror film “House at the End of the Street.”
Thieriot was born in 1988 in Los Altos Hills, Calif., and has two siblings. He was raised in Occidental, Calif., and graduated from Sonoma Country Day School in 2002 and El Molino High School in 2006. He started acting when he took an improvisation class and modeled for GAP. He was also in two short films before making his big-screen debut in “Catch That Kid.”
